Sherborne Upholstery is a British company that designs and manufactures their furniture in the UK. Sherborne began in a small garage on Sherborne Road in Bradford over 90 years ago. The company has flourished into one of the most respected upholstery companies in the UK, currently employing around 200 people. In 1953, it became a limited company and, after relocating four times to larger spaces, settled in its present-day main factory in Clayton, Bradford.

Over the years, the company has constructed seven significant factory extensions and now has a sizable warehouse in Queensbury, Bradford, only a short distance away. Their highly skilled craftspeople use traditional techniques to create each piece of furniture by hand. With their commitment to quality and craftsmanship, Sherborne Upholstery is proud to be a British brand.

Sherborne Upholstery’s riser recliners come with single or dual motors and intelligent button control to return to you to a seated position, all meeting British Standards BS 8474 for safety.
